Insurance & Takaful
The syllabus emphasises the fundamental principles of Insurance and Takaful. Participants are introduced to the concepts of Syariah and its application to Takaful followed by an overview of the insurance and Takaful processes, including its products and marketing aspects, key components of the syllabus provide insights into the legal aspects and regulations of insurance, underwriting including risk assessment, ratings arranging insurance and risk sharing. There will also be a panel discussion on underwriting and claims, and customer service. Business exposure visits to insurance companies and knowledge-experience sharing with leading insurance and Takaful personalities are organised to provide interactive opportunities for reality and experiential learning.

The importance and fundamental principles of Insurance & Takaful are emphasised. The body knowledge of Syariah and Takaful are introduced and an overview of the Insurance and Takaful process is provided which includes its products and marketing aspects:
- An insight into the legal aspects and regulations of insurance, underwriting including risk management, ratings, arranging insurance and risk sharing and spreading.
- Other topics include panel discussions on underwriting and claims, and customer service.
