Islamic Banking
The syllabus for Islamic banking starts with the fundamental concept based on the tenets of Syariah. Other topics covered include Islamic deposits, Islamic financing facilities, financing documentation and Islamic trade finance, the marketing of Islamic banking products and the restructuring and rescheduling of Islamic financing facilities. Participants are encouraged to participate in discussion to gain insights into Islamic treasury operations, accounting for Islamic financial instruments, Syariah compliance audit and business risk related exposures. Corporate social responsibility excursions are organised to induce participants to develop the spirit to serve their fellow man, society and the environment.
